Educational Excellence

Community Day students experience a well-rounded, academically challenging, and enriched education in both secular and Hebrew/Judaic subjects.  In addition to receiving a firm foundation in language arts and mathematics, children explore science and social studies concepts throughout their time at the school.  Students finish Algebra by 8th grade, and some progress to Geometry and beyond.  Research skills are emphasized in Middle School Language Arts and Social Studies.  Beginning in 7th grade, students may also elect to take Spanish, allowing them to enter high school as second year Spanish students.

A K-8 independent Jewish day school, fully accredited by the Pennsylvania Association of Independent Schools and affiliated with the National Association of Independent Schools, the Pittsburgh Consortium of Independent Schools and the Solomon Schechter Day School Association
