Community Day School is the only Jewish day school in Pittsburgh that offers a pluralistic, inclusive Jewish education in the context of a first-class general academic experience. The school offers a positive and informed religious instruction, respectful of all branches of Judaism.
If Community Day iSchool s to be a resource for our children and our children’s children, we must preserve and strengthen the school each year. To that end, Community Day School depends on financial support not only from local and national foundations, but also from community members, parents and grandparents of past and present students, alumni, faculty, and staff.
At Community Day school, we are not just educating children – we are cultivating the next generation of Jewish leaders and givers. Without a strong Jewish identity, which is best transmitted in a day school environment, this generation of children may not feel as strongly as you do about supporting the institution to which you have already donated so much time and resources.
A gift to our school ensures that the things that matter to you – the things you have supported so generously – continue into the next generation. Gifts can be monetary or they can be in-kind donations of goods that we can give to our students or use for events.
